Nigel Evans welcomes Arts Council England's 'A Night Less Ordinary Campaign'

Nigel Evans, Member of Parliament for the Ribble Valley and Member of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, has today congratulated Arts Council England on their “A Night Less Ordinary” Campaign.

Last year, Art Council England received £2.5m from DCMS to fund a scheme that would deliver free theatre tickets to people under 26. Working with more than 200 venues, Arts Council England will help to distribute 618,000 tickets over the next two years.

“I think it is fantastic that young people are being encouraged to go to the theatre with such a scheme. We all know that financial restrictions, especially at this moment in time, make it difficult for young theatre-goers. So I would whole heartedly encourage everyone to search for theatres that are signed up to the scheme as well as apply for tickets through the Night Less Ordinary website:
