Armistice Day In Westminster We, as civilians, are eternally indebted to their sacrifice
Nigel Evans, Member of Parliament, today paid his respects to the Armed Forces at the Cenotaph in Westminster. He is pictured with Senator Alan Ferguson from the Australian Senate. Nigel commented:
“The two minute silence allowed us to remember and honour not only those troops from the UK and Australia who fought and died in the two World Wars but also all the Allied Forces that gave their lives in conflicts that took so many. It was also a chance to reflect on those men and women who have served this country and died for this country in conflicts since the Wars and who continue to do so. We, as civilians, are eternally indebted to their sacrifice.” |
